Day 1 – Zagreb

Day 2 – Zagreb – Opatija

Zagreb – a city tour of Zagreb, including the fortified Upper Town, St. Mark’s Church, the Cathedral, the Croatian National Theatre and the University
Lunch in a typical bistro& tasting of local delicacies at an open air Farmers Market Dolac
Opatija – once the resort of choice for the Habsburgs and the European Royalty, as well as personalities from the world of culture, such as Gustav Mahler, Isidora Duncan and A.P. Chekhov Dinner and an overnight in Opatija

Day 3 – Opatija – Pula – Brijuni Islands National Park – Porec

Breakfast at the hotel
Pula – a sightseeing tour of Pula includes a visit to the Arena (1st century), one of the best preserved Roman amphitheatres in the world
Lunch in a restaurant with traditional Istrian specialties such as truffles
National Park of Brijuni Islands – it’s consisted of 14 islands and islets of which we tour the island Veliki Brijun
Poreč – dinner and an overnight in a hotel

Day 4 – Porec – Plitvice Lakes National Park

Breakfast at the hotel
Porec – a visit to the Basilica of St. Euphrasius (6th century)
Plitvice Lakes National Park – touring of the Plitvice Lakes, the largest national park in Croatia
Lunch at the Lakes
Dinner at the hotel and an overnight

Day 5 – Plitvice – Paklenica National Park – Zadar

Breakfast at the hotel
Paklenica National Park – known for its unique karst landscape consisting of the Great and Small Paklenica Canyons
Lunch at the National Park
Zadar – a sightseeing tour of Zadar including the Roman Forum, the Cathedral of St. Anastasia and St. Donatus Church
Dinner and an overnight in Zadar.

Day 6 – Krka National Park – Šibenik – Trogir – Split

Breakfast at the hotel
Krka National Park – touring of the waterfalls and a boat ride to the islet of Visovac to visit the Franciscan Monastery
Šibenik – a visit to the Cathedral of St. Jacob (15th century)
Lunch in a fish restaurant
Trogir – a picturesque mediaeval town, where we visit the Cathedral of St. Lawrence with its magnificent Romanesque portal
Split – dinner and an overnight

Day 7 – Split – Dubrovnik

Breakfast at the hotel
Split – a city tour of the Diocletian’s Palace (3rd century) includes the Peristyle, the Cathedral of St. Doimus and the Jupiter’s Temple
Dinner and an overnight in Dubrovnik

Day 8 – Dubrovnik

Dubrovnik – a sightseeing tour of Dubrovnik includes Franciscan and Dominican Monasteries, the Rector’s Palace and the Cathedral
Lunch in a restaurant with a beautiful sea view
Tour of the city walls with their magnificent fortresses and towers

Day 9 – Dubrovnik – Mljet Island National Park
